Hallo zusammen
Habe folgende Information von der IATA erhalten:
Gruss Markus
Dear all,
The ICAO Dangerous Goods Panel (DGP), at the DGP meeting that concluded today, have decided to remove the mandatory requirement for the air eligibility marking that was to take effect from 1 January 2004.
The decision of the DGP now has to go to the ICAO Air Navigation Commission (ANC) and then to the ICAO Council for their ratification. This process will not be completed until the first week of December. However, assuming that the ANC and Council ratify the DGP decision, ICAO will then issue an addendum to the 2003-2004 Technical Instructions making the air eligibility marking advisory rather than mandatory. As soon as ICAO publish their addendum IATA will also publish an addendum to the 2004 edition of the DGR amending the requirements of Section 7.1.5.8 - Air Eligibility Marking to make them optional.
Regards,
David Brennan
